Prof Paul Callanan will give a public lecture with the mysterious title of the “The Third Test”.  (Don’t ask us because we don’t know either—you’ll have to come along to see for yourself.) This is a public lecture, all welcome.

A photo of Professor Paul Callanan. He is standing in front of some large device constructed of wood and brass. The object is too cropped for an accurate identification.

Photo shows Paul at the historic Crawford Observatory in the grounds of UCC.

Really interesting visit to the observatory. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the history of the building and gave a very interesting talk about the night sky.
